Putting Your Money Where Your Mouth Is

August 30, 2019

Living out our faith is often reflected in our investments. Many seek to steward their budget well, tithe for the work of God in their church, and help those in need, but they might be missing a key opportunity to have a big impact with their finances for the Kingdom of God.

There are so many causes around us that it can be easy to become overwhelmed and wonder if we are making a difference at all. And though we cannot help every cause, we can do our part. One way we can make a difference in a profound way is to align our investments with our values and regularly invest our finances for Kingdom causes.

Faith-based portfolios offer competitive returns that agree with your personal convictions,  too. Aligning our faith with our investments starts with asking ourselves what we care about. What burns in our hearts that we wish we could do something about? That cause has a name and there is likely an option for you to have that cause as part of your investment portfolio.

Below are several resources to read about faith-based investing. Another resource to help you think about the role your values can have on your investments is the book, Investing and Faith: Investing and Faith: The Impact of Faith-Based Investing. Jeff is a contributing author of the book and you can read more about the book below, as well.

You don't have to let your investments fund things you don't believe in. You can invest responsibly according to what you care about and what you value. Jeff and his team offer a free consultation where potential clients can walk through a process of determining what they are called to support with their investments. We really can put our money where our mouth is with biblically responsible investing.
